Getting there

So much has been going on. I haven't been able to log on and update in a while, so let me see what I can remember.

Joshua is nearly swimming. He is doing 'water adjustment' at the Res, about 5 minutes from the house. Two wonderful young women have been coaxing him into the water for the past three weeks, and he is now so fully adjusted to the water, I worry for his safety. He walks in and keeps walking until his chin goes up in the air. he is as likely to throw himself backwards into the water as forwards. No fear. I do have to bribe him with ice cream to go out into the deep part with the teacher, but we are okay with that. Josh doesn't really like to eat the ice cream. He just likes how the arm sucks up the ice cream and carries it t the front of the vending machine. Machinery is pretty cool. He is pretty brown, even with all the suntan lotion. We go when it is sunny or rainy. The only thing that stops us is thunder.

Samantha is in her last week of Drumlin Farms. She spends the day wrestling with the counselors, running games, tag, milking cows, currying the pony, petting snakes, frogs and pigs, cooking snacks, and craft stuff. She loves it. She is pretty brown too with quite a few bug bites on her legs. She has her father's ability to attract mosquitoes. She is taking riding lessons every Saturday and is doing a pretty decent posting at a trot. She curries and saddles the horse as well. It is a wonderful place.

Love you all--Sam and Josh seem to be doing just great.
