Today's food adventure is bubbles. Yes, this wunderkind had a lot of fun with her food today. I accidentally made it a little extra soupy. As the spoon got into her mouth, she would blow out and make nice bubble with the rice cereal. As a result, lunch was particularly messy today.
Sam started the day by yelling at 5 am to be fed. I was so tired this morning that I couldn't see straight and I slept on the couch with her in my lap until 10 am. She didn't really sleep, fussed some of the time. She spent almost the whole day yelling or fussing to some degree whenever I wasn't holding her. I went to a weight watchers meeting, and she was completely quiet the whole time. I'm glad I got to attend the meeting, but I also kind of laughed when another mother came over to say how beautiful Sam is and what a good baby she is. Only for that one half-hour!
She does not want to go to sleep again tonight. She kept Matt up until 1am the other night when he was writing the log entry, and then she woke up again at 4am. I hope she doesn't do that again tonight. She went to sleep at 8, woke up at 8:30 and has just gone to sleep again at 10:30. Who knows when she'll wake up next. This is exhausting!
