Pride

I'm very proud of my two kids. Sam had a rough time with a kid in the mat room. This little boy, for reasons that escape me, kept running up and trying knock over a tower that three other children had built and were playing on. Samantha used her words really well, saying "Excuse me. We worked really hard to build this. Please stop trying to knock it over." Sam tried that twice, then found me. I had to talk to him a couple of times before he stopped, but he finally did. He went over in the corner and sulked instead, obviously in quite a huff. Joshua crawled over to him, puts his hand on the boy's leg and tries to peer in his face and coos at him with a very concerned look on his face. The little boy just twirls away and sits in a further corner. Joshua tries to follow him to check on him, but he gets distracted on the way and climbs some padded stairs instead. They can be such wonderful children some days.
